Phillip O'Riley is from San Diego, California. He had his first acting performance in an Elementary School play at the age of 11 in "Oh, California!" Phillip followed this up by taking acting classes throughout school. In college, Phillip O'Riley took on Improvisational Theatre and then joined the independent improvisation group S.T.I.C. Theatre & Improv Co. Phillip attended Southwestern College where he obtained a Associate of Arts degree in Film because of his passion to be creative behind the camera as well as in front of it.
At the time of graduation, Phillip received his first Hollywood film acting role as a featured background actor in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Phillip continued his pursuit of acting in the film and television industry with the Showtime drama series Ray Donovan portraying an Armenian mobster, and the comedic series Superstore as a customer picking up a ball in the opening credits of the show. Phillip also acted in many independent short and feature films including Crossroads, Anatomy of An Antihero 3, and The Evil Rises.
Phillip directed and produced the short film Murder Mementos for the 48 Hour Film Project. Phillip was Associate Producer on the independent film The Last Scout, an Assistant Director/Second Camera on Summer Celebrations in San Diego, Key Grip on the tv pilot Chartered and The Cast Members Episode 2, First Assistant Camera & Boom Operator on the web series For the Win, and a Production Assistant on Finding Your Roots Season 5 episode 8 and Boomer Hogs. Phillip will continue working his way up in the film industry as a writer, director and actor.
Other trivia- Phillip has trained in the martial arts in Taekwondo and played in his local first place indoor soccer team as a child. Phillip is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. He is a photographer in his spare time. As for hobbies, Phillip is a video game collector/historian, along with being a collector of films as well.
